Intro

This is a blog about what I learn in the game. It is not what I have learned how to get by or cheat in the game, it is about what the game has taught me in a spiritual, mental, physical, emotional sense - learning to control myself.

You use the mouse, but also a new sensor. It attaches to the tips of 3 fingers on your non-mouse hand. As a physical Human interface - it is really well done.

The game is very visually stimulating. The decor is reminiscent of World of Warcraft, only prettier. Halfway between reality and cartoons. The level of detail IS FASCINATING.

Sophia is your mentor. She is an elderly lady dressed in colorful robes and scarves, and a captivating voice. To me, she sounds so wise.

Sophia teaches you how to navigate in the game, and how to use the fingertip controller in order to learn peace. The game starts in a spot called the Sun Palace in a place called the Sun Realm. As you approach entry to the Sun Palace, you see a pinwheel made of feathers floating in the air. In order to pass through the gate, you must make the pinwheel spin. How do you make a pinwheel spin? you blow on it. So you need to blow HARD. It is amazing. The response is immediate. If I puff a breath, the pinwheel only moves a little. If I blow very fast, it spins like crazy.

Sophia introduces you to other mentors, who teach you how to juggle and how to levitate a single large ball. This is where learning peace comes in. To make the balls juggle, you have to get excited. Laughing loudly really helps. The balls go up very high, zipping around. To make the large ball levitate, relax. I could not get the ball of the ground the first time I played.

Then you leave the sun palace to go see the Lady in the Woods. She gives you a magic bag which will allow you to carry things in the game. This is a standard GUI in 3D adventure games. Your mouse cursor is a magic wand. If you place the tip of the wand on an object, and it sparkles, that means you can pick it up. There is also a magic mirror in there which will show you what you are supposed to do next. Set a game bookmark to this place so you can come back to the mirror often as you wander around.

The mirror told me to get a flower from a wagon next to the fountain in the Sun Palace to be used as an offering to the Dhurga. It showed me what the wagon looked like. I found the place easily, and got a red rose.

I clicked M to put up the map view, saw a small palace on the hillside called Double Dhurga, so I decided to go there. I clicked M to make the map go away.

I went to the entry point across a field and a lake from their palace. I floated over the ground to get to their palace. It had 2 short wings. As I entered the wings, I was told to place a rose as an offering to the Dhurga. This I did, and I was taken into the Dhurga's room. A woman with a small mustache appeared, dressed in beautiful robes. So I assume that is what a Dhurga is. She did a lovely energetic dance, rich in East Indian culture, and when done, gave me a gift. This was a gift in the Human interface in the game. An ornate double spiral appeared in the game controller area. I was told that I would see a large set of eyes appear in the playfield, indicating what I should do, and then they would disappear. If the eyes were open, and the closed, I should relax. If the eyes remained opened, I needed to become alert.

The ornate double spiral is a thermometer. It measures your excitement/tension against your relaxation. Left side is Relaxation, right side is Excitement.

At this point, you should save the game, otherwise you have to do this whole thing over again next time you play.
